Tumour also was positive for CD56 and very weak patchy synaptophysin staining. We did not have TLE-1.....
but ……
We did not have TLE-1.....but was send and showed a t(X;18) translocation, confirming diagnosis of synovial sarcoma.
The pseudo nested pattern is tricky and one of the differential diagnosis was a paraganglioma (in fact that was a clinically DDx). Also, they can be positive for some “neuroendocrine markers” (but they look unusual in this case).
